When friends and family gather there’s nothing better than a good old Aussie BBQ, however there are times when grilling
in the near or great outdoors is not an option. Our stylish new 90cm induction cooktop ICT9030 with black Duraglass,
quartz grey graphics and premium finished bevelled edges looks too elegant to be a BBQ, but the ICT9030’s unique and
specialised BBQ function automatically sets the ideal even BBQ temperature on either of the rectangular bridged zones.
When combined with a cast iron griddle (not supplied by Kleenmaid) the ICT9030 becomes your perfect BBQ companion.
Electronic sensor touch controls with 9 heating levels plus Boost allow you to select your cooking zones, power
levels and functions with a simple touch. This cooktop has 5 induction zones with a timer for each one which is
very useful when you have several different pots on the go at once. The Total Input Power of this cooktop is 7kW.
Boost Function is a function that maximizes power to a selected cooking zone. When activated the function
operates for 5 minutes and provides faster, more powerful cooking e.g. to heat a large pot of water to cook
rice or pasta. Boost Function can be used on all cooking zones.
The Left and Right Flex zones with Bridge Function each comprises two independent cooking zones that can be
controlled separately or used as a large single zone. Other functions on this versatile cooktop include keep-warm
function that helps retain the temperature of cooked food for long durations while consuming very little energy so
even latecomers can enjoy warm food, and Pause/Resume function so you can quickly delay cooking without losing
your settings should you need to leave the kitchen.
Safety features are also integral to this appliance. Cooktop controls may be locked to prevent unintended use
(for example children accidentally turning a cooking zone on), and Residual Heat Indicators operate to show
which cooking zones are still hot after they are turned off as a warning against possible injury from hot surfaces.
Auto Stop Safety Protection operates in several circumstances. An inbuilt temperature sensor monitors the
temperature inside the cooktop so when an excessive temperature is detected, the cooktop will stop operation
automatically. The cooktop will also beep and shut down after a certain quantity of liquid overflows onto the
controls. Should you forget to switch off power to a zone the appliance automatically shuts down after a set
default time. It even warns you if an unsuitable size or non-magnetic pan or some other unsuitable item (e.g.
key, knife, fork) has been left on the induction cooktop.
ICT9030 comes with our 5-year full parts and labour warranty, and is supported by our highly skilled national
service network.
